AN ACT PERMITTING CERTAIN STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN MANUFACTURING INTERNSHIPS OFFERED BY TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOLS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 164 of the general statutes be amended to permit any student who is not enrolled in a technical high school to participate in any manufacturing internship offered by the technical high school for the region in which such student resides.

Statement of Purpose:

To expand manufacturing internship opportunities to students who are not enrolled in a technical high school.
