AN ACT INCREASING THE SALES AND USE TAXES EXEMPTION FOR ITEMS SOLD FOR SCHOOL FUNDRAISING AND SCHOOL-RELATED ACTIVITIES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That subdivision (26) of section 12-412 of the general statutes be amended to increase, from twenty dollars to fifty dollars, the exemption from sales and use taxes of items sold by certain charitable organizations and schools for fundraising and school-related activities.

Statement of Purpose:
