Summary

To enable the Insurance Commissioner to collect information to ensure the parity of mental health and substance abuse benefits to medical, surgical or other physical health benefits, and to empower the commissioner to enforce the Paul Wellstone and Pete Domenici Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008, as amended, and any regulations adopted thereunder.
