CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE—
2021–2022 REGULAR SESSION
Senate Bill
No. 587
Introduced by Senator Borgeas |
February 18, 2021 |
An act to amend Section 23500 of the Business and Professions Code, relating to alcoholic beverages.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
SB 587, as introduced, Borgeas.
Alcoholic beverages: craft distilleries.
Existing law establishes the Craft Distillers Act of 2015, which, among other things, authorizes the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control to issue a craft distiller’s license to manufacture distilled spirits.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to the provision naming the act.
