Senate Bill
No. 1186
Introduced by Senator Borgeas |
February 20, 2020 |
An act to amend Section 102100 of the Health and Safety Code, relating to public health.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
SB 1186, as introduced, Borgeas.
Vital records.
Existing law requires each live birth, fetal death, death, and marriage that occurs in the state to be registered on prescribed certificate forms. Existing law requires a report of each judgment of dissolution of marriage, legal separation, or nullity decree to be filed with the State Registrar, as prescribed. Existing law exempts all confidential information included in these documents from the California Public Records Act.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.
