An act relating to school districts.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


SB 1116, as introduced, Moorlach. School districts: sale of property.
Existing law authorizes the governing board of a school district to sell or lease for a term not exceeding 99 years any real property belonging to the school district that is not or will not be needed for school classroom buildings at the time of delivery of title or possession.
This bill would express the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would reform the process by which school districts may sell property.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would reform the process by which school districts may sell property.
