An act to amend Section 32000 of the Vehicle Code, relating to vehicles.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
SB 1076, as introduced, Hertzberg.
Vehicles: transportation of hazardous waste.
Existing law declares the intent of the Legislature to provide the public additional protection through the licensing of motor carriers transporting hazardous material. Existing law authorizes the Department of the California Highway Patrol to inspect and license those motor carriers, with special attention directed to the negligent operators or repeat violators.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.
