CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE— 2019–2020 REGULAR SESSION

Assembly Bill
No. 3355

Introduced by Assembly Member Bloom

February 21, 2020

An act to amend Section 14101 of the Welfare and Institutions Code, relating to Medi-Cal.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 3355, as introduced, Bloom. Medi-Cal: contracts.
Existing law provides for the Medi-Cal program, which is administered by the State Department of Health Care Services, under which qualified low-income individuals receive health care services. The Medi-Cal program is, in part, governed and funded by federal Medicaid program provisions. Existing law authorizes the Director of Health Care Services to contract with other state agencies for services, as specified.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision.
