An act relating to state educational agencies.

AB 3255, as introduced, Mullin. State educational agencies.
Existing law establishes the State Board of Education to consist of 10 members appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of 2/3 of the Senate. Existing law also establishes the State Department of Education in state government, and vests the department with specified powers and duties relating to the state’s public school system.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact future legislation relating to state educational agencies.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact future legislation relating to state educational agencies.
