An act to amend Section 43 of the Civil Code, relating to personal rights.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 2790, as introduced, Gabriel. Personal rights.
Existing law provides that, in addition to other rights, a person has, subject to the qualifications and restrictions provided by law, the right of protection from bodily restraint or harm, from personal insult, from defamation, and from injury to their personal relations.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to that provision.
