An act to amend Section 14602 of the Government Code, relating to state government.

The Department of General Services.
Existing law establishes in the state government, in the Government Operations Agency, the Department of General Services and provides that the department is under the control of an executive officer known as the Director of General Services.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to the provision concerning the executive director.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 14602 of the Government Code is amended to read:14602.
(a) The Department of General Services is under the control of an executive officer known as the Director of General Services. (b) As used in this part, “department” and “director” refer to the Department of General Services and the
Director of General Services, respectively, unless the context otherwise requires.
