An act to amend Section 1797.100 of the Health and Safety Code, relating to emergency services.

AB 1455, as introduced, Cooper. Emergency medical services.
The Emergency Medical Services System and the Prehospital Emergency Medical Care Personnel Act establishes the Emergency Medical Services Authority. The act requires the authority, among other things, to develop planning and implementation guidelines for emergency medical services systems and to review plans for the implementation of emergency medical services and trauma care systems from local EMS agencies.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to the establishment of the Emergency Medical Services Authority.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 1797.100 of the Health and Safety Code is amended to read:

1797.100.
 There is in the state government government, in the Health and Welfare California Health and Human Services Agency, the Emergency Medical Services Authority.
