CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE—
2019–2020 REGULAR SESSION
Assembly Bill | No. 1455 |
Introduced by Assembly Member Cooper |
February 22, 2019 |
An act to amend Section 1797.100 of the Health and Safety Code, relating to emergency services.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
AB 1455, as introduced, Cooper.
Emergency medical services.
The Emergency Medical Services System and the Prehospital Emergency Medical Care Personnel Act establishes the Emergency Medical Services Authority. The act requires the authority, among other things, to develop planning and implementation guidelines for emergency medical services systems and to review plans for the implementation of emergency medical services and trauma care systems from local EMS agencies.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to the establishment of the Emergency Medical Services Authority.
