An act to amend Section 11006 of the Elections Code, relating to elections.

Existing law provides procedures for the recall of elected officers.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 11006 of the Elections Code is amended to read:

11006.
 Proceedings may be commenced for the recall of any elective officer, including any an officer appointed in lieu of an election or to fill a vacancy, by the service, filing filing, and publication or posting of a notice of intention to circulate a recall petition pursuant to this chapter.
