AB 1400, as introduced, Friedman. Silver Lake Reservoir: protected habitat: migratory birds and urban wildlife.
Existing law establishes various types of refuges for fish and wildlife and prohibits certain activities in those refuges.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would designate a protected habitat for migratory birds and urban wildlife in the waters and surrounding land of the Silver Lake Reservoir in the County of Los Angeles.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would designate a protected habitat for migratory birds and urban wildlife in the waters and surrounding land of the Silver Lake Reservoir in the County of Los Angeles.
