appropriating monies to the department of environmental quality.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Appropriation; department of environmental quality; distribution to Navajo tribal utility authority; exemption

A.  The sum of $240,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2018-2019 to the department of environmental quality for distribution to the Navajo tribal utility authority for purposes of payment of costs for connecting, filtering and delivering water to the former Arizona windsong water company system and customers.

B.  The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
