AN ACT

 

Requiring the Arizona state board of nursing to report on nursing assistant training options.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Arizona state board of nursing; report; assisted living facility caregivers; experience; nursing assistant training; delayed repeal

A.  On or before December 1, 2020, the Arizona state board of nursing shall report to the president of the senate, the speaker of the house of representatives and the chairpersons of the health and human services committees of the senate and the house of representatives a pathway for assisted living facility caregivers to apply their hours of training and practical experience toward the training requirements prescribed by the board for licensed nursing assistants and certified nursing assistants, including any possible statutory changes.

B.  This section is repealed from and after June 30, 2021.
