An Act

 

amending title 32, chapter 11, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 32-1214; relating to the state board of dental examiners.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 32, chapter 11, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 32-1214, to read:

START_STATUTE32-1214. Dental practice; ownership change; patient notification

If there is a change in the ownership of a dental practice, the new owner shall post a notice of the change in ownership in a conspicuous location in the waiting room of the dental office.  The notice must be posted within ten days after the ownership change and remain posted for at least one year.  The notice must be in a format prescribed by the board and clearly state that there has been a change in the dental practice's ownership.END_STATUTE
