SENATE BILL 1225

 

 

 

AN ACT

 

APPROPRIATING monies to the department of economic security.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Supplemental appropriation; department of economic security; developmental disabilities services providers; mandated labor costs

In addition to any other appropriation made in fiscal year 2018‑2019, the sum of $508,600 from the state general fund and $1,176,100 from the developmental disabilities medicaid expenditure authority are appropriated in fiscal year 2018-2019 to the department of economic security for onetime emergency assistance to developmental disabilities services providers.  The department shall distribute the monies to developmental disabilities services providers that experience the highest mandated labor cost increases for services provided in a geographic service area located in northern Arizona as designated by the Arizona health care cost containment system administration.
