AN ACT
Amending title 36, chapter 4, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 36‑425.07; relating to health care institutions.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 36, chapter 4, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 36-425.07, to read:
36-425.07. Transvaginal ultrasounds; licensure of premises; health care providers
A. Notwithstanding any other law, any premises on which a transvaginal ultrasound is performed shall be licensed pursuant to this chapter.
B. A transvaginal ultrasound that is performed on a woman shall be performed by a health care provider who is licensed or certified pursuant to title 32 and whose scope of practice includes performing transvaginal ultrasounds.
