AN ACT
amending title 13, chapter 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 13‑826; relating to restitution.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 13, chapter 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 13-826, to read:
13-826. Restitution payments; address requirement; victim notification; classification
A. A defendant who is ordered to pay restitution shall provide the clerk of the court with the current address where the defendant resides until the restitution is paid in full. At the time of sentencing, the defendant shall provide a home address to the clerk of the court. If the defendant moves to a new residence or does not have a permanent residence, the defendant shall provide the clerk of the court with the new address for the defendant's residence within thirty days after moving or update the clerk of the court every thirty days with the defendant's temporary residence address.
B. If the defendant defaults in the payment of restitution or of any restitution installment as ordered by the court, the victim or the victim's attorney may request that The clerk of the court provide the victim or the victim's attorney with the defendant's current address.
C. A violation of subsection A of this section is a class 1 misdemeanor.
