amending section 13‑2907.02, Arizona Revised Statutes; relating to offenses against public order.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Section 13-2907.02, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:

START_STATUTE13-2907.02.  False reporting of child abuse or neglect; classification

A person who knowingly and intentionally makes a false report of child abuse or neglect knowing the report is false or a person who coerces another person to make a false report of child abuse or neglect knowing the report is false is guilty of a class 1 misdemeanor 6 felony. END_STATUTE
