AN ACT
Appropriating monies to the department of health services.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriation; department of health services; grants; pediatric neurological autoimmune disorders
The sum of $250,000 is appropriated from the disease control research fund established by section 36‑274, Arizona Revised Statutes, in fiscal year 2016-2017 to the department of health services to provide grants on a competitive basis pursuant to title 41, chapter 24, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, for the research of pediatric neurological autoimmune disorders. The biomedical research commission established by section 36-272, Arizona Revised Statutes, shall evaluate grant applications and shall make award recommendations to the director of the department of health services.
