AN ACT
appropriating monies to the department of public safety.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriation; department of public safety; untested sexual assault kits
In addition to any other appropriations made, the sum of $1,200,000 in one-time funding is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2017-2018 to the department of public safety for the purpose of eliminating the backlog of untested sexual assault kits in this state.
