An Act

 

appropriating monies to the department of transportation.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Appropriation; department of transportation; Glassford Hill road; matching monies

A. The sum of $9,900,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2023-2024 to the department of transportation for improvements to Glassford Hill road.

B. The department of transportation may spend the monies appropriated in subsection A of this section only if the town of Prescott Valley demonstrates to the department that the town has a commitment for at least $1,100,000 in matching monies of gifts, grants and donations for improvements to Glassford Hill road from sources other than this state.
