HOUSE BILL 2081

 

 

 

AN ACT

 

amending title 44, chapter 9, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding article 26; relating to trade practices.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 44, chapter 9, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding article 26, to read:

ARTICLE 26.  TRANSFER OF PERSONAL PROPERTY

START_STATUTE44-1382.  Transfer of personal property; city, town or county

Notwithstanding any other law, this state and a city, town or county shall not require as a condition of a private sale, Gift, donation or other transfer of personal property that the owner of the personal property search or FACILITATE the search of any federal or state databases or that a third party be involved. END_STATUTE
