AN ACT
Amending Title 8, chapter 4, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 8-527.01; relating to dependent children.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 8, chapter 4, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 8-527.01, to read:
8-527.01. Children in out-of-home care; transportation in taxi
The department, a child welfare agency or a group foster home may not transport a child who is under twelve years of age or a child who is noncommunicative in a taxi, unless the child is accompanied by an adult other than the person driving the taxi.
