AN ACT
amending title 1, chapter 2, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding sections 1-272, 1-273 and 1-274; relating to sovereign authority.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 1, chapter 2, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding sections 1-272, 1-273 and 1-274, to read:
1-272. Sovereign authority; presidential executive orders
Pursuant to the sovereign authority of this state and article II, section 3, Constitution of Arizona, this state and all political subdivisions of this state are prohibited from using any personnel or financial resources to enforce, administer or cooperate with an executive order issued by the President of the United States that is not in pursuance of the constitution of the United States and that has not been affirmed by a vote of the Congress of the United States and signed into law as prescribed by the Constitution of the United States.
1-273. Sovereign authority; United States agency policies
Pursuant to the sovereign authority of this state and article II, section 3, Constitution of Arizona, this state and all political subdivisions of this state are prohibited from using any personnel or financial resources to enforce, administer or cooperate with a policy directive issued by an agency of the United States that is not in pursuance of the constitution of the United States and that has not been affirmed by a vote of the Congress of the United States and signed into law as prescribed by the Constitution of the United States.
1-274. Sovereign authority; United States supreme court opinions
Pursuant to the sovereign authority of this state and article II, section 3, Constitution of Arizona, this state and all political subdivisions of this state are prohibited from using any personnel or financial resources to enforce, administer or cooperate with an opinion of the supreme court of the United States that is not in pursuance of the constitution of the United States and that has not been affirmed by a vote of the Congress of the United States and signed into law as prescribed by the Constitution of the United States.
