Summary

The purpose of this bill is to prohibit new permits or modifications of existing permits for underground injection of coal slurry until the studies required by Senate Concurrent Resolution 15, dated March 9, 2007, are submitted to the Legislature and a determination is made that the injection of coal slurry underground is not harmful to human health and the environment.
