Summary

Extends the sympathy of the Senate to the families of Marie Colvin and other reporters who have died reporting from conflict zones. Recognizes the bravery of Ms. Colvin and other correspondents and photographers who have lost their lives while exposing the truth. Calls on: (1) the world community to honor the memories of Ms. Colvin and other reporters, and (2) the government of Syria to halt the brutal attacks against the people of Syria and to respect their human rights.
