Summary

Balkan Counter-Extremism and Security Act - Authorizes the President to provide assistance to Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia (Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia), Montenegro, Romania, and Serbia (countries of the Balkan region) to facilitate cooperation between the United States and such countries on counter-extremism and counter-terrorism efforts. Provides such assistance on a three-tiered scale based upon a country's compliance with specified requirements. Increases by $1.00 the fee for processing nonimmigrant visas for applicants from such countries through January 1, 2015.
