Amend SB 1191 (senate committee printing) in SECTION 1 of the bill, in amended Section 1701.601, Occupations Code (page 1, lines 31 through 33), by striking the last sentence of the section and substituting the following:
The term does not include a peace officer who provides law enforcement at:
(1)a public school only for extracurricular activities; or
(2)a public school event only for extracurricular activities.
