Summary

Provide Necessary Definitions, To Provide Criteria For Registration As A Health Care Insurance Navigator, To Require Registration Of A Person Acting As A Health Care Insurance Navigator, To Provide Related Duties Of The Department Of Insurance And The Department Of Health And Human Services, And To Provide Penalties For A Violation; To Amend Section 38-3-110, As Amended, Relating To The Duties Of The Chief Insurance Commissioner, To Require The Commissioner To Take All Reasonable Action To Limit Federal Intrusion Into The Regulation Of Insurance In This State; And To Authorize The Governor To Communicate The Contents Of This Act To Our Sister States And Request An Expression Of Their Sentiments Regarding The Aca.
