A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 9-11-29 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT BEGINNING JULY 1, 2009, EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PERSONNEL EMPLOYED SHALL PARTICIPATE IN THE SOUTH CAROLINA POLICE OFFICERS RETIREMENT SYSTEM AND TO PROVIDE DEFINITIONS APPLICABLE TO EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PERSONNEL.
