| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to David Witner on the occasion of his retirement from the Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund Board of Trustees, October 31, 2014; and |
| WHEREAS, Over the years, David Witner has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to performing his duties and fulfilling his responsibilities with the utmost efficiency and competence. Commencing his service with the Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund Board of Trustees in June 2010, he held the post of chairman from June 2013 to October 2014, and during his tenure, he was active with numerous efforts, including the passing of pension funding legislation under Senate Bill 340; and |
| WHEREAS, David Witner is, indeed, a remarkable individual, combining civic concern and commitment with selfless initiative to become a dynamic leader in the community. Always sincere and energetic in his approach to his work, he has given generously of his time and abilities far beyond what was required or expected, and he has displayed a genuine commitment to improving the quality of life in our society; and |
| WHEREAS, The enthusiasm and expertise David Witner has shown in his endeavors have earned him the respect of all those with whom he has worked. As he retires, he has the satisfaction of knowing that he has provided a valuable service to the State of Ohio and has established a record of personal and professional achievement that will stand as a hallmark for others to emulate; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate David Witner on his retirement and salute him as one of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further |
