A RESOLUTION
Honoring Joshua Yoho on being named the 2014 Ohio Military Youth of the Year.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Joshua Yoho on being recognized as the 2014 Ohio Military Youth of the Year by Operation: Military Kids; and

       WHEREAS,  A person of intelligence and integrity, Joshua Yoho has established high personal goals and has worked tirelessly to reach his potential. A 2011 graduate of Woodridge High School and a student at the University of Dayton, he has served as a counselor at Operation: Military Kids camps since 2008, and as a member of an Ohio Army National Guard family, he has shared his personal experience with other children whose parents are deployed. Indeed, he can be justifiably proud of his exemplary record of achievement, for he has distinguished himself among a select group of individuals whose accomplishments merit praise; and 

       WHEREAS,  Every opportunity to celebrate the lofty ideals, versatile talents, and boundless enthusiasm of our nation's youth is always welcome, and Joshua Yoho has ably demonstrated the wealth of kindness, courage, and industriousness that exists among those ranks. He is a model citizen and a striking reminder of the many ways in which our lives are enriched by the dedication and determination of our young adults. The skills that he has utilized in his earnest efforts will be a source of inspiration and admiration for many and will undoubtedly be vital to his success in the years to come; and

       WHEREAS,  Joshua Yoho's noteworthy accomplishments clearly demonstrate the potential of each person to have a positive effect on the quality of life in our society, and through his unfaltering commitment and altruistic nature, he has earned the respect and appreciation of all who know him. His exemplary service to others will long stand as a hallmark worthy of emulation; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Joshua Yoho as the 2014 Ohio Military Youth of the Year and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Joshua Yoho.
