Subdivision 4 of section 20.40 of the criminal procedure 2 law is amended by adding a new paragraph (n) to read as follows: 3 (N) AN OFFENSE COMMITTED AT RIKERS ISLAND FACILITIES SHALL BE PROSE- 4 CUTED BY QUEENS COUNTY. 5 S 2. This act shall take effect January 1, 2016, and shall apply to 6 prosecutions commenced on or after such effective date.
