         printed to be committed to the Committee on Codes -- reported  favora-
         bly  from  said committee, ordered to first and second report, ordered
         to a third reading, passed by Senate and delivered  to  the  Assembly,
         recalled,  vote  reconsidered,  restored to third reading, amended and
         ordered reprinted, retaining its place in the order of  third  reading
         --  recommitted  to  the  Committee on Codes in accordance with Senate
         Rule  6,  sec.  8  --  committee  discharged,  bill  amended,  ordered
         reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee
       AN  ACT  to  amend  the criminal procedure law, in relation to providing
         jurisdiction to Queens county for cases  arising  from  Rikers  Island
         facilities
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Subdivision 4 of section 20.40 of  the  criminal  procedure
    2  law is amended by adding a new paragraph (n) to read as follows:
    3    (N)  AN  OFFENSE COMMITTED AT RIKERS ISLAND FACILITIES SHALL BE PROSE-
    4  CUTED BY QUEENS COUNTY.
    5    S 2. This act shall take effect January 1, 2016, and  shall  apply  to
    6  prosecutions commenced on or after such effective date.
