         Committee on Education
       AN ACT in relation to a candidate applying for an initial certificate as
         a school building leader
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. A candidate applying for an initial certificate as a school
    2  building leader who prior to May 1, 2014 has satisfied all state testing
    3  requirements  that  were  in  effect prior to such date shall be granted
    4  such certificate by the state education department provided that  he  or
    5  she shall be required to meet all other requirements by June 30, 2014.
    6    S  2.  This  act  shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to
    7  have been in full force and effect on and after April 1, 2014.
