SYNOPSIS
Supports and encourages All 3 Wars Veterans Association.

An Assembly Resolution expressing support and encouragement to the All 3 Wars Veterans Association.
Whereas, The All 3 Wars Veterans Association is a group of retired officers and enlisted personnel whose active duty in any branch of the Armed Forces of the United States, including Coast Guard and Merchant Marines, spanned the conflicts of the past 75 years; and
Whereas, Membership in the association is open to veterans of any three of the following conflicts--World War II, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, Iraq, and Afghanistan--whether they participated in combat or not; and
Whereas, The All 3 Wars Veterans Association is a national organization with a chapter in New Jersey, and while it has no meeting halls, it does cover all 50 states and holds a national meeting each year; and
Whereas, Members of All 3 Wars Veterans Association, including a Medal of Honor recipient, range in rank and grade from a National Guard Brigadier General to an Army private; and
Whereas, According to a 2006 United States Census report, there are approximately 78,000 veterans who have served in three wars; and
Whereas, These distinguished veterans share many common experiences that only other service men who served in three wars experienced, and they lived through an era of significant changes in military life and society; and
Whereas, With so many World War II veterans dying every day, the goal of All 3 Wars Veterans Association is to reach the remaining veterans who have served in three wars to acknowledge their dedicated service and assist them in any way possible; and
Whereas, It is fitting and proper for this House to support and encourage the All 3 Wars Veterans Association to achieve its laudable goal; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved by the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. This House expresses encouragement and support to the All 3 Wars Veterans Association.
2. Copies of this resolution, as filed with the Secretary of State, shall be transmitted by the Clerk of the General Assembly to the All 3 Wars Veterans Association and its New Jersey Chapter.
STATEMENT
This Assembly Resolution expresses support and encouragement to the All 3 Wars Veterans Association, a national organization with a chapter in New Jersey, which has the goal of providing recognition and assistance to veterans who have served in any three of the following wars: World War II, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, Iraq, or Afghanistan.
