HOUSE BILL No. 4976

 

May 20, 2009, Introduced by Reps. Lahti, Lindberg, Nerat, Booher, Spade and McDowell and referred to the Committee on Transportation.

 

     A bill to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled

 

"Michigan memorial highway act,"

 

(MCL 250.1001 to 250.2080) by adding section 1062.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 1062. The portion of highway M-203 in Houghton county

 

beginning at the intersection of M-203 and 11th street in Calumet

 

township and continuing west to the intersection of M-203 and

 

Calumet waterworks road shall be known as "Veterans Memorial

 

Highway".
