| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Norma Jakimiak of Waukegan, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on May 23, 2014; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Norma Jakimiak was born on October 29, 1939 in | ||||||
| 6 | North Chicago and was a lifelong resident; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Norma Jakimiak was a member of St. Anastasia | ||||||
| 8 | Parish and an active volunteer with the funeral luncheons; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Norma Jakimiak enjoyed spending time with her | ||||||
| 10 | family and friends, children, dogs, music, and poetry; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Norma Jakimiak was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 12 | husband, Joseph Roger Jakimiak, and her parents, Joseph and Ann | ||||||
| 13 | Luka; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Norma Jakimiak is survived by her sons, Thomas | ||||||
| 15 | Jakimiak and John (Ola) Jakimiak; 2 grandchildren, Alaina and | ||||||
| 16 | Rylan Jakimiak; a brother, James Luka; and several nieces and | ||||||
| 17 | nephews; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||

| 1 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Norma Jakimiak; and be | ||||||
| 2 | it further

| 3 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
