SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Robert Hurley, who passed away on June
28, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Robert Hurley was born on June 21, 1943, in
Evergreen Park; he was a resident of rural McHenry County for
41 years; and
WHEREAS, Robert Hurley was a member of the Nunda Rural Fire
Protection District for 26 years, including 14 years as fire
chief, before retiring; he was also a proud retired member of
the Chicago Graphic Arts Local 458M; and
WHEREAS, Robert Hurley was the beloved husband of 42 years
of Joan; the cherished father of Daniel, Ann, Stephanie, and
Michelle; the devoted grandfather of Tyler, Jacob, Sebastian,
and Hailey; the loving brother of Dolores Halpin and the late
Joseph Hurley and Lorraine Walsh; and the fond uncle of many;
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
his family and friends, the passing of Robert Hurley; and be it
further
