1 | AN ACT concerning local government.

2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
| ||||||
3 | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by | ||||||
5 | changing Section 11-42-6 as follows:

7 | Sec. 11-42-6.
The corporate authorities of each | ||||||
8 | municipality may license,
tax, and regulate hackmen, draymen, | ||||||
9 | omnibus drivers, carters, cabmen,
porters, expressmen, valets, | ||||||
10 | and all others pursuing like occupations, and may
prescribe | ||||||
11 | their compensation.
