| 1 | AN ACT concerning local government.
| ||||||
| 2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
| ||||||
| 3 | represented in the General Assembly:
| ||||||
| 4 | Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by | ||||||
| 5 | changing Section 11-42-6 as follows:
| ||||||

| 7 | Sec. 11-42-6.
The corporate authorities of each | ||||||
| 8 | municipality may license,
tax, and regulate hackmen, draymen, | ||||||
| 9 | omnibus drivers, carters, cabmen,
porters, expressmen, valets, | ||||||
| 10 | and all others pursuing like occupations, and may
prescribe | ||||||
| 11 | their compensation.
