Summary

This Bill transfers the responsibility for the administration of the Office of Gasoline Sales from the Department of Transportation, Division of Motor Vehicles to the Weights and Measures Unit of the Department of Agriculture to better optimize resources and minimize the number of unnecessary compliance visits conducted by the State. Applicable sections of the code are being repealed to be transferred to Title 30, Chapter 51 for administration by the Division of Motor Vehicles and the promulgated regulations for Title 6, Chapter 29 are incorporated into this Bill to make them part of the code for enforcement.
