Summary

This Bill raises the fee for various vehicle and transportation related services as recommended by the “Report on Conditions, Planning and Revenue Options for Support of the Transportation Trust Fund” presented by the Transportation Trust Fund Task Force. The increased fees are as follows: • Drivers License Late Renewal, raised to $10 from $1.15 • Reinstatement of License after Revocation, raised to $200 from $143.75 • Late renewal of auto registration, raised to $20 from $10 • Outdoor advertising fees, previously unspecified and now set out in Section 1 of this bill • Fees for recording liens, raised to $20 from $10 • Late fee on transfers of title, raised to $35 from $25 • Duplicate license, raised to $20 from $10 • Duplicate title, raised to $50 from $25 • Duplicate registration card and duplicate validation sticker, to $10 and $5 from $2 and $1, respectively All revenue from these fees will go to the Transportation Trust Fund.
