AN ACT CONCERNING MAIL-IN VOTER REGISTRATION APPLICATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 143 of the general statutes be amended to provide that persons submitting mail-in voter registration applications shall include their Social Security number in order to be eligible to vote.
Statement of Purpose:
To help reduce voter fraud by requiring Social Security numbers to be included on mail-in voter registration forms.
